This policy explains what information RentOurLaptops.com collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. RentOurLaptops.com is a Rentacomputer.com brand, and quote requests are handled in the same systems as Rentacomputer.com.

Information you give us

When you request a quote, we collect what you enter in the form: your company or organization and its type, your name and job title, email address, phone number, delivery address, city, state, and ZIP code, rental dates, laptop type and quantity, project details, and how you heard about us. Your browser also sends its time zone so we can contact you at a reasonable hour.

Information collected automatically

• Our own cookies. rol_original_referring_site records the website that first sent you to us (its address without any query string), and rol_campaign records advertising campaign codes from the link you followed (such as utm_source, gclid, or msclkid). Both are deleted when you close your browser and are attached to your quote request if you submit one. rol_quote_access lets you, and only you, see the summary of the request you just submitted; it expires after 24 hours.
• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects information like pages viewed, approximate location, device, and browser.
• Google Ads. When you arrive from one of our ads, Google Ads may set cookies so we can tell whether the ad led to a quote request.
• Google reCAPTCHA. The quote form uses reCAPTCHA to block spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sends it to Google. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Security logs. To stop abuse of the quote form, our server uses your IP address to limit how many requests can be sent in a short time. Suspected spam is logged with a one-way coded form of the IP address, the browser's user agent, and the referring page.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to your request, prepare quotes, provide and support rentals, send a confirmation of your request, keep records of our business relationship, measure and improve our website and advertising, and protect the site against spam and abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your contact information. We share information with service providers that help us run our business, such as our email provider (Microsoft) and Google for analytics, advertising measurement, and reCAPTCHA, and within our Rentacomputer.com family of companies to fulfill your request. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep information

• Quote requests and related business records: as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• The request summary shown after you submit: up to 3 hours, in server memory only.
• Our referral and campaign cookies: until you close your browser.
• Spam and security logs: 30 days.
• Google Analytics data: according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices and rights

• To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to ask us not to contact you, email rentals@rentourlaptops.com or call 888-736-8301. We may need to confirm your identity first.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, but the quote form needs reCAPTCHA.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in Google's ad settings.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information under our control, including encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

RentOurLaptops.com rents only to businesses and organizations. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
